FS: B2600 / RX7 transmission

Post by DJpowerHaus »

For Sale:

Mazda RX7 Turbo II transmission "Model R" (JDM yo) with rare 87/88 B2600 Pickup Bellhousing. Bolts to any Mitsubishi "wideblock" transmission (Pickup 4G63, 4G64, G54B). Uses the Starion starter / Clutch / Flywheel / Throw Out Bearing. No adapter plate needed. This is the same setup I have in my racecar tested up to 400hp with my 4G64. Shifts like a dream at high revs too.

What you will still need: Transmission crossmember for your application (will include RX7 crossmember, bushings), B2600 Slave Cylinder (will send RX7 unit to use as core), Spicer yokes and ujoints: P/N 2603-25 , 2626-31, 4-1306-1x to use with your shortened stock driveshaft (auto or manual). Speedometer hookup is the same as the Starion with some clever routing (not sure of calibration).

Price:
Transmission $275 + Bellhousing $85 = $360 + S/H.

Can deliver if you're near Maryland, DC, NoVa, S.PA or if you go to drift events at VIR or Englishtown, NJ.

I had a friend sell me a rare B2600 bellhousing and am passing it along WITH a transmission to save you the hunting. I'm selling this at the price for which I bought the components.

Getting the engine bolted in is about 10% of the way there.
The next 80% can go quickly with help and skill.
That last 10% takes about as long as the 90% that came before it.

oorx7 already has this reserved. He also picked up a phone and gave me a call which was cool. Got to hear all about his upcoming project.

If he eventually doesn't need it I'll be sure to let you guys know first.
