yesterday i started my car to unload it at the track. when it started there was a loud tick/knock. long story short, the timing belt jumped and that loud noise was valve slap. i put the timing back and the car ran like nothing happened.

in the heat race it jumped time agian. i had like 30 min. untill the main. i made the main and got black flag.

how lucky am i.

wierd. my crank sprocket jumped like 8 teeth last weekend. my hydraulic tensioner took a shit. i hate dsms

I got my "good" crank back from the machine shop today. Pollishing won't do it. Needs to be machined. Taking my "bad" crank there to be machined tomorrow.

im two out of four (motors/races).

plus i ran into my buddy and wrecked the front end. im going to fix the bodywork and put the stickers on it. the next race is on the 18th and im going to the quater mile.
