injector problem
does anyone know if the what i think is called the "ignition chip" has anything to do with the injector pulse? it is the black sensor located on the side of the intake manifold. i don't have any idea what it does or how to test it to see if it is working properly.

Are you sure that is what you're looking for? The turbo cars have a resistor for the injectors, but that is on the firewall. There is a connection near the ignition coil, but I think that is for the coil itself. My step brother just had a similar problem with his 95 Sonata. We just cleaned the relay that was near the fule pump test connection. I don't think the DSM has one, but you might check in that direction. If I remeber right, the injector pulse comes straight from the ECU. I have been known to be wrong though.
