hey guys, i'm planning to do a 2.4L block/4G63t head swap soon. i just wanted to know what the difference is between the 13.25" 46G4 block and a G64B block is. does one block require more modifications to work with the 4G63 head?

thanks.

this is more of a DSM specific question.. then again none of thoes guys screw with wideblocks.. hrmmm... wanna get a narrow 2.4 and compare stuff? Take one for the team!

Getting the engine bolted in is about 10% of the way there.
The next 80% can go quickly with help and skill.
That last 10% takes about as long as the 90% that came before it.

That's not really the point i was trying to make.... I was just trying to get the point across that this site is more about making a reliable cheap RWD setup for the 4G63 as well as helping with StarQuest 4G63 swaps.

DSM sites will have alot more GREAT (cocky) info on the internal bits of the motor.

The externals of the motor and accessories and odds and ends are more our cup of tea.. so be my guest and find every little differnece between all these different motors (2.6, 2.4, 2.0, 1.8, etc).
