So after taking a 3 year break from dsms....... Ive decided to build I max I picked her up last night for 700$ she needs a little tlc but frame is in good condition. Im not new to dsms But I do have a few questions
Since I have a efi 91 using my 1g harness 91-94 of course.
After ripping out my truck harness do i have to run and wires additionally such as Powers to run the ecu
3 large wires in the white 6 pin connector near the ecu side
black w/ green stripe - to fuel pump
black w/ yellow stripe - goes to the starter ignition wire
black w/ white stripe - this wire needs ignition power durring the crank and run position
black w/ red stripe - wire comes from pin 10 of the mpi relay, it needs power from the battery all the time.
red w/ black stripe - comes from the smallest yellow connector of the ecu. pin 103. its ecu backup power and needs to have a 20amp fuse and full battery power. even with ignition off and key in hand.
