Engine identification help 4G63T

I have a 1990 e30 bmw with a 4g63t conversion.
It is running a 1978 mitsubishi sigma/galant gearbox.
It has an Evo head but since it has this gear box does it mean it is not an evo block?
Just trying to sort out what ive got in my car..
