Need ECU

So im looking for a good ECU to run with my 4g64 project. I would like one I could tune down the road if I wanted to. My build is a 87 montero 4x4 SWB gen1 it's
powered by a starion 2.6 right now. I have a gen1 harness out of a early 90's
eclipse. I read the EProm was one to get but could go with a none one for now, then send it later off to ECMT to have there chip put in.
What do you guys think? Im after low end torque with good HP when I need it.
