Need help figuring it out?

Post by 96' GSX »

I am in hell, trying to figure out the following; We are working on a 90' Plymouth Laser RS turbo and the head was trashed, I have tried to search and found nothing on if it could bolt up fine and could hold up to stock boost levels without any problems? FYI I do not have anything to tune it with. The car that this head came off of was not turbo, and the only info I can find pertaining to the 4G67 head on a 1g 4G63 is of course on non turbo motors. That being said, with future supporting mods in place I am going to eventually run higher than stock boost. I don't want to think I'm getting a good deal now, and later down the road have to get yet another head for some unforeseen reason.
-But first, the car actually needs to run. 1. will it match up? 2. will it stay right and not have any problems? any  if you need anything to help you try to figure out what I am trying to tell you, please let me know!

I think the 1.8L heads had a 43cc combustion chamber vs. 47mm on the 2.0. It will raise the compression a little bit, but it will work.
