I'm selling this on behalf of a customer who's Starion I'm rebuilding. Here in the UK cars rot and the Starion is no exception! Anyway, to contribute to the cost of doing the amount of bodywork need I suggested selling selling his Evo3 head and conversion parts, and when the bodywork is complete look into a Lexus V8 motor instead.
I will upload pictures shortly when I find my camera lead. Consist of an Evo3 head with cams, pulleys, valves etc. Injectors and rail are present, as is the stock exhaust manifold and intake manifold. The intake manifold has had the throttle body chopped of as we were going to swap in to the other end so it is facing the front rather than the firewall, I can finish this of for an extra fee if needed. The timing casing/gears from the Evo3 engine were supplied with it, pictures will show all that is included. The original engine block and box is also available
There is also a new Garret turbo, I've yet to do a search on the specs, looking at it I would say it's in the region of 300-350hp capacity.
I'm hoping to get back what he paid, that way I can progress more on the car. The head and ancillaries cost £400, the turbo was around £300. I can ship overseas if necessary, I would expect it to be cheap due to weight though
Excellent site, there is a Starion forum in the UK but it is very very small and no where near as technical as this. Anybody junked the steering box and gone rack and pinion?!
