1989 Dodge Colt GT $3000obo

Post by jeffball610 »

Up for sale once again is my Turbo Colt. This is an original 1.6L 4G61 turbo car and is fully legal to drive. (just don't mention the 2.0L 4G63T swap)

Engine is a 1990 4G63T with stock 14b and unknown mileage. It runs strong and is mechanically sound. Chassis has about 176k on it and it shows its age. If you're looking for a perfect looking car, look elsewhere. If you're looking for a fun quick car for cheap, this is the right place. Purchased the car from an enthusiast in 2007 and it's been faithful since then.

Upgrades include a Fidanza 8lb aluminum flywheel, upper intercooler pipe, 3" turbo back exhaust, Dejon intake w/ K&N filter, SAFC-II, and manual boost controller. 16" OZ racing wheels on 1G AWD Eibach and KYB suspension.

$3000 obo. I will not part out or trade. I have extra parts to go with the car as well. (door panels, Miata seats, unhacked front bumper etc.)

PM with questions.

Not dumb at all. All questions are welcome.

I typically get about 27mpg around town and over 30mpg on the highway. That is, of course, if you drive conservatively. If you get on it a lot, your mileage will drop considerably. I've seen as low as 22mpg. Can't argue with a 2.0L engine pulling around 2500lbs. Doesn't even break a sweat. Really, the car doesn't sweat at all ;)

Weekly bump. My Datsun project is on hold until this is out of the garage.

Sold a couple of weeks ago. Sorry. There was very little interest and I let it go for $2500. Oh well, more money for parts for the 4G63 510 project.
