That's a swap you don't see every day!I have an S13 I want to swap in a G54b
My AIM is Joel07NC, right now I'm not on any other DSM or Starquest boards, but usually I use some form of Joel07. As far as the car goes, well as far as a 4G63 swap goes anyway, I don't have one yet, trying to finish my other project first, a 1981 Chevy C10 shortbed. <a href='http://storm.prohosting.com/~likness/truck.html' target='_blank'>http://storm.prohosting.com/~likness/truck.html</a>
But, I'm planning on getting some type of 4G63 RWD swap going, it might be in a Ram 50 or Mighty Max truck, or I have had dark thoughts of dropping one in an S12 (84-88 200SX). I raced an S12 a few years ago at OCS (circle track), and loved that car, they're just too underpowered. I'm not a big fan of crossbreeding, but it would be cool none the less...
So, next step is to find a cheap turbo DSM and a cheap RWD donor car...
Well, now I've got the truck, should I do the swap?

i go by peregrine on all the boards im on. that way i dont get confused
as for the car heres a quick mod list for the main stuff.
full t4 t-61 56 trim (custom top mount header in process)
2.4 g4cs 9.2to1 motor (wiseco pistons, eagle rods)
slightly ported 1G head (arp studs)
forced performance FP2 cams (stock springs, retainers etc)
magnus intake built for rwd
th-350 auto tranny with buschur custom adaptor and 5000 stall convertor
ford 9" rear with 3.90 gears and locker
880 inj. w/aeromotive FPR,aeromotive 700 hp external pump, fuel cell
custom 6 point cage
1g dsmlink
nitrous express 75 shot single fogger

the car looks totally different now. all the body work is done and i have an empty 6 bolt & head in there for mock up purposes. funny thing is the only thing im worried about is making the tranny tunnel big enough for the th-350. eric plebani is doing my harness for me and im doing a painless harness to rewire the rest of the car as we speak. i have my shortened 9" rear already but need to buy my gears and get my locker from my buddy. i bought two non running awds from a friend with the plan to build one beastly dsm. i have a 2.4 in the machine shop getting built and then i ran across this little car across the street from my machine shop for $250. it was a one owner car with 82000 original miles. it even ran! ive always been an old school hot rodder with an appreciation for technology so this gives me a chance to kill two birds with one stone.
