I've noticed that the number of 4G63 swaps have risen dramatically in the last 3 months. What's the deal with this? StarquestClub has been having tons of posts and there has been lots more search results for this stuff recently. What's with all this sudden interest. Both the motor and the car have been available cheaply for almost a decade.

Getting the engine bolted in is about 10% of the way there.
The next 80% can go quickly with help and skill.
That last 10% takes about as long as the 90% that came before it.

Because of the internet. People are finding information that makes it possible for the average guy to take on a swap like this.

Not only that, in the past couple of years, StarQuests have gone down DRAMATCALLY in price and so have 4G63 engines.

its because everyone is finally realizing that a rwd 4g63 car is FUN. i always wished i could do burnouts with my old awd. now when im done ill probably wish my car would hook better :D seriously though, there are ALOT of cars out there that you can do the swap with that have just come out recently.
