anyways its the 4g64 swap, pmp forged rods(basically eagle) with wiseco pistons all that good stuff. i decided that i want to go all out in this project now,im thinking aem ams tuned for e85,gt42r turbo, full cage, lexan windows etc, that is where you guys come in haha. i know i can use the rx7 tans with the b2600 bel housing and they are good for 500hp,im going for upwards of 800whp,can a built rx7 trans handle that or will i need to find a new set up?
also with the rear end, what is a good one to run,i heard something about an explorer but again i need something that is going to hold up,can i use like a mustang rear end? sorry im a newb at all this, any information you all can give me would be very much appreciated

If you're shooting for 800hp, I would assume this would be a drag only truck. In that case, just go with Bill's auto trans setup. Otherwise, you can see what aftermarket offerings are there for the RX7 trans. I think HKS and OS Gilken make sequential dog boxes. The Toyota R154 is pretty tough and should hold 600hp, but that's well below your goal. Let us know what you decide.

You need to put some serious thought into the front and rear suspension for HP like that. There will have to be a lot of weight transfer to be able to get any traction at all in it. Be sure to post racing picks and good luck.
