I think i can use a early d-50 5th gear in my starion transmission.
The km-132 is the same but i heard that the other variants might have a taller 5th.
looking for 5th gear info

i would like more info on this also.
picked up a 3.55 final drive diff (w/ locker) for my 87 ram 50 w/ 3.90 rear. but with that lousy .86 5th gear o/d ratio the final drive will still be kinda high at 3.05:1. many auto and stick overdrive gears are around .7. kinda crazy when i can tow 1500 lbs of sleds and trailer despite a ready to die 2.0 (pings like crazy, burns oil) with no power.
