hydraulic to cable clutch

i know that people have used the wilwood pull type slave. i have found some other ones that are a little cheaper but don't have as long as stroke. my question is do you need the 1.25 inch stroke on the wilwood or can i use one that has 7/8 inch stroke?

I guess it would depend on your pivoting point and the pressure it would take to move the pressure plate fingers the given amount to disengage the disc.

you only need 1/8th in movement at the bearing, the fork should be 2/1 ratio so it needs to move 1/4 inch ( I believe those are the right numbers, we worked this out a long time ago)
