sohc starion turbo into celeste
hi im my celeste which is an 1981 gsr non-turbo 4g52 5 speed burnt out a valve. i was going to do a high compression rebuld with lumpy cam and twin side-drafts but after shitting my pants at the price of the carbs i want to do a sohc turbo 4g63 conversion. what i want to know is will the 4g63 bolt up to the original gearbox, what size intercooler is best, how hard will it be to wire up, and any problems that might arise. i have seen an engine that was set up to run in an ex lancer and want to know if it will bolt in? cheers
BUT SUDDENLY, THE STUNT GOES HORRIBLY WRONG!"

All 4G style Sirius motors should have "basically" the same bellhousing pattern. Check out the "Wideblock vs. Narrowblock" stuff on here to see what you have in the car already.
In any case, my vote is always a DOHC turbo swap. These heads flow a ton and here in the states, they're super cheap. You should be able to find some EVO stuff over there or some non-tubo parts that should work just as well.

Do it in a Datsun!
