SO I BOUGHT A BRAND NEW HX35 FOR 103.74....

I WORK AT A HEAVY EQUIPMENT DEALER.. AND WE HAPPEND TO HAVE A BRAND NEW HX35 THAT HAD BEEN SITTING IN THE BOX ON A SELF FOR THE LAST TEN YEARS AND WAS PART OF LEFTOVERS WE INHERITED WHEN MY COMPANY BOUGHT THE BUILDING FROM ANOTHER HEAVY INDUSTRIES DEALER/SERVICE CENTER..SO WHILE WE WHERE PUNCHING NUMBERS GETTING READY FOR INVENTORY IN THE PARTS DEPT. I MIS-PUNCHED A CUMMINS NUMBER AND THERE IT WAS WITH A WRITTEN DOWN COST OF $97 AND SOME CHANGE SO I BOUGHT IT FOR COST PLUS 12%. NOW IT'S INTERNELLY GATED USES A V-BAND EXH CONNECTION AND CAME WITH A WASTEGATE ACUATOR AND I BELIVE HAS A T4 EXHAUST FLANGE ..THE ONLY OTHER INFO I CAN FIND IN CUMMINS IS THAT THE WASTEGATE IS SET FOR 1.98 BAR(25-26 PSI)... SO I PLAN ON BUILDING A LOG STYLE MANIFOLD TO TOP MOUNT THE TURBO AND USE THE INTERNAL GATE SET UP ..HAS ANYONE HERE EVER USED ONE USING THE HOLSET EXH HOUSING? IS THERE A WAY TO MODIFY THE HOLSET WASTEGATE OR DO I NEED TO FAB UP SOMETHING FROM A STOCK DSM WASTEGATE...?

should be t3 flanged,twin scroll inlet correct? does it have bolts holding it to the center section or a v band? if it has bolts you can buy a bep(bulls eye proformance) exaust housing that bolts up to the stock manifold. they say it will spool(double digits) around 3800 with the new housing, search google you'll find alot of info.

I was at a local 'truck shop' here in Memphis and in the back of one of their mtc trucks was a HUGE turbo just sitting there among the other crap.
(I know what your gonna say already..)
I got side-tracked and didn't ask the owner "whatcha gonna do with dat? Tro it away?"
I've seen Turbo-City's site on Ebay that sell center sections fairly cheap... Hhhmmm.. If all I had to worry about is that internal C-clip, that would be fine by me.

Maybe his (Mr. D50sport) computers inventory system wouldn't care about price, and just shoot out another.. dozen or so..
