Its pretty simple and straight forward really. Grab all the tools I listed, jack the truck up and get started. Heres a couple pointers to make it smoother
Pro-Tip #1
DONT fill the truck up at SAM'S, then get anxious and yank the motor out.
Gas is heavier than you think and it make's things a little more difficult
This is the order I SHOULD have used.. I actually got the electrical connections last

You can too as long as you leave something under the tank to support it
The plugs themselves were pretty easy to remove actually.

Side by side of the old and new pump. GSS 341 with some install kit. I called Fuelpumps.something and this is what the guy sent me. Kinda of moot really, but I'll get into that.
Looking at the tank, I see why Ligo said the tank was terrible for launching. Not alot I can do honestly as this will be a daily driver. I did snap a pick of the internal baffle though, just for shits and giggles

Here the new pump is installed in the assembly

PRO-TIP #2
As it stands right now, and I'll test it out tomorrow morning, there is no wiring to be done, unplug the old pump and the new pump plugs right back in with the OEM wiring. Lucky Us.
PRO-TIP #3
That little clip that holds the sock to the pump being a pain in the ass? Grab a 4mm socket and a small hammer and use the socket as a punch to pop that little sucker on the pump

Ill finish this tomorrow with a rewire of the fuel pump with 10 gauge wire. Its bed time, momma is going to be pissed
