turbo oil feed from head thread size

Post by S0LJAH »

hey guys just trying to chase a leak from the rear of my engine eliminating all options.

what thread is the oil feed from the rear of the head on a 4g63 vr4
ive blocked it up as my feed is from the filter housing

ive just got a metric fine bolt in there at the mo but hoping maybe its a slightly different thread bpt or something that is close but maybe just not sealing

cheers

It is not a bsp thread. Did you use a copper crush washer with the bolt? The correct bolt can be sourced off of the nt dohc heads.

I wouldn't use a bolt. I would use an allen screw with some threadlocker on it.

Oh the size is M10 x 1.25

92 Mitsu Eclipse GS Turbo (in pieces)
88 Dodge Ram 50 (almost running)
