and Dentsport did one as well.
?
How are you planning on doing the transmission with the 7 bolt block? If I remember right, its not the same bolt pattern as the 6 bolts.

Getting the engine bolted in is about 10% of the way there.
The next 80% can go quickly with help and skill.
That last 10% takes about as long as the 90% that came before it.

The EVO will not be a wide block and should not be compatible with the Starion trans. However, the EVO block does share most of it's exterior dimensions with the 6-bolt and the US 7-bolt. Bill has made provisions for both the EVO and 2G 7-bolt blocks with his kit.
I am using a 2G 7-bolt and it does not have provisions for Bill's extra support braces that he includes with his R154 kit. I'm sure this won't be an issue, but I'm just stating another small variation between the 6 and 7 bolt blocks.
I know there is another member on here using an EVO 3 block and Bill's bellhousing. Check with Bill for details.

I'm also in the process of swapping a 4g63 into a E30, currently waiting on T56 housing from Bill once I have that I can set the engine in to make the mounts. In the mean time I have been cleaning up the engine bay and wiring the car for my EMS.
Current parts list includes
.020 over 2.0 Manly, Weisco short block
Stock 2G head
Tremec T56 trans
MicroTec LT10S EMS
Turbonetics T76
we will be building a exhaust mani once the motor is set in, I'll be sure to post pictures as we progress all of the work is being done at Infamous Performance in Fall River Ma.

I have had a few mates do this conversion into ex lancers using the l200 gear boxes, I dont really want to have to change bell housing or make an adaptor if I can find a box that bolts straight on, Im from New Zealand and im guessing this bill guy is from the states?? I have heard alot about him from this site what exactly does he do? I will start uploading pics soon. cheers guys
