 Only seen your above pic so far, dj.

I'll read-around here and see if you need a few parts catalogs that I can copy from a local Dodge dealership if you guys need em'.

Late 70s Challangers...became Starquest and I'm sure you guys know that.

And we have access to FWD turbo colt and spare engines too.

Welcome PQ. Glad to have you around.

Getting the engine bolted in is about 10% of the way there.
The next 80% can go quickly with help and skill.
That last 10% takes about as long as the 90% that came before it.

That looks like a starquest crossmember under that engine.(assuming)

What topic should I view to see more details on how to mount that lil' monster into a starquest?

That is a SQ cross member in the top picture. It bolts up like stock when using the MightyMax engine mount brackets.

I'm doing a swap for Craig aka Busdriver on SQC and we should have everything pretty well documented on our "simple" swap. Lots of little things thought up over the years to keep it simple to work on and reliable.

It will use a stock transmission and crossmember. Doing it in such a way that all upgrades could have been staged. Any SQ transmission upgrade will work for it. Any steering conversion we do will work with any SQ. Should be pretty cool once we get it tuned.

Ahhhhh. Very clever. 8)

Soooo no MODS to the engine mounts? DIRECT bolt-ins up front.

What size engine did the D-50 have? (yep, I pretty much ignore those trucks cept the steering box)

There's typically about a dozen at "super-u-pull-it" yard here.

D50s had 2.0L and 2.4L Sirius (4G6x) engines and 2.6L Astron (G54B) engines.

You use 2x MD041030 (D50) engine mount brackets with Starion rubber mounts/isolators. Bolts up great.

The crossmembers for the trucks and SQs are totally different, but have the mounts in the same position. Trucks have double wishbone, SQ are McPherson Struts.

Will the 2.6 tranny bolt-up to your engine? Plenty of those in my inventory.

I gather a Challanger ass-end would be a lil' tuffer because it weighs more.

But even a D-50 axle ass. could be transplanted to a Colt. Maybe.
A tape measure across the leaf springs & drum-to-drum could tell you a bunch.

Do you have the door lenght for me yet?
