10 bolt vs 8 bolt

So I've recently acquired a B2600 transmission. It's an 8 bolt bellhousing, but still.

In this notation, I get a little confused:

Some B2600 bellhousings use ten bolts to the gearbox, others use eight. The bolt pattern is the same though and not having those 2 bolts will make little difference.

I'm planning to bolt this 8 bolt housing to a 10 bolt RX7 TII transmission (For the gear ratio, before anyone asks). Will this present any sort of problem, or will it seriously not matter? I ask because the bottom bolt holes started leaking tranny fluid when I broke it loose...wondering if that'll present a problem.
