Hey, is there anything special to this plate? It looks to me just like a piece of metal with a few holes drilled in it. Anything more to it? How do I make it :)?

Thanks!

are you talking about the one coming off the transmission? The reason that is on there is becuase the slave cylinder cannot fit past the bellhousing and still pull straight forward. So the fix is to bring the attachment points out a few inches past the bellhousing. The 4 threaded holes in my pictures were becuase we didnt have a clue where we should be attached to for decent pedal pressure and adequate travel of the TOB. We actually had it wrong at first on the top hole... this caused TONS of stress on the whole system eventually leading to me breaking the bar between the clutch pedal and the master cylinder. After some adjustments to the length of the master cylinder bar we could get enough travel from the slave to use the bottom hole and that gave a pretty good reduction in pedal pressure.

Getting the engine bolted in is about 10% of the way there.
The next 80% can go quickly with help and skill.
That last 10% takes about as long as the 90% that came before it.
