Hey, I figured it would be good to get a thread going that compares the pros/cons of all the transmission options available to us so it would be easier to pick what to go with. Main things Im interested in are ease of install, hp capabilities, price, gear ratios, and a few other things. If we could get a list going of a few of these things it would be really helpful. Lets try and answer the following questions, add any you feel are important to be asked as well:

Obviously theres the commonly posted transmissions such as the t5/t56, r154, w54/58, and probably some others, but lets try and answer this info and have some of the more knowledgable members make a short write up about each transmission. If we could get this done and clean (aka NO pointless posts like, "yay!!" etc,..) it could surve as a very valuable resource.
