SOHC 4G63 Starion block Q

Hey guys

I couldn't find a definitive answer to this rather simple question anywhere...

Is the block height for a SOHC starion block the same as a VR4/Evo1-3 Block??

I ask because or rod lengths. I want to know if I get a set of Eagle rods for a Evo1-3 For compression 8.5 that the compression doesn't change because of the block's height.
