Various 4G63T parts (engine, turbos, R154 BillHousing)

Post by ShaggyZ »

I've been having trouble deciding if I wanna do the RWD 4G63 swap into my Z and times are tough. To help me decide, I'm going to offer up the parts I have for sale and see what happens. I'm open to offers as I'm not looking to scalp anyone, but please don't low-ball me. I haven't researched the going rate on all of these but considered what I'd be willing to pay. If enough of the major (ie higher dollar) parts have sincere major interest, then I'll let them go but it would suck to go halfway. If someone buys the bellhousing, that'll decide for me.

The entire engine is available, including a stock EVO VIII turbo and manifold I've found I can get to work with relocation of the alternator (a given), modification of the water pump (a given), slightly bending the oil dipstick tube out of the way of the turbo, and using a $30 header flange from jayracing.com or someone else to space the turbo away from the block 1/2". I've actually seen a picture of the EVO VIII turbo/manifold setup installed on a 1G Eclipse. I've also now test-fitted the turbo and found it will indeed work with the above-mentioned modifications.

I'm just going to list some of the major parts I have and you can ask about other parts. Engine ran nice and smooth before I pulled it out of the car. The engine is from a 1992 Eclipse GS-T with auto-tranny and it is a 6-bolt. I began to disassemble the engine to do a gasket rebuild of everything and then life started happening, including a bad motorcycle accident, marriage, and a baby on the way now, so it's just been sitting for 7 months, basically.

Bill Hincher R154 bellhousing. I haven't even opened the box he shipped it in as I got in the motorcycle accident shortly after I got it from him.

Sad to hear. Thanks for keeping me updated. I'm not actively selling it so I'll probably have it for awhile. if, in several months I still have it, I might end up putting it on a Mighty Max for fun. Who knows?!
