what is the very hard white fluffy lookin residue on the exhaust valves and what does it mean? (4g63 turbo about 100K miles-just got it from salvage yard).
DJ, you still offering your services for flipping the TB on the intake?
Also, did everyone have to tap the bottom driver side engine mount bolt hole? (see second pic)

Yeah, buy Joe's. I'm busy with school even though I still can do manifolds. Just too busy at the moment.

And I dont know what you mean about the taping of a hole. Pictures dont show up either.... blah

Getting the engine bolted in is about 10% of the way there.
The next 80% can go quickly with help and skill.
That last 10% takes about as long as the 90% that came before it.

I got the pictures to work.

Dave, how do I contact joe about the manifold?

Also, anyone have advice on cleaning and rebuilding the stock turbo (then getting it balanced professionally) vs having the hole thing done professionally?

Finally, poorboyj, i am interested in your adapter and routing for water hoses. Can you give me more details.

Let me know if you guys don't want these basic questions (I am going to have a lot of em) on this site or if there is somewhere else I can find this info.

thanks
