the amount of work and attention to detail in the range of motion in steering is best left to the engineers

There is a 74 colt in the project section that is running a Saab steering rack modded to the existing subframe. Ask him some questions about it. By putting a steering rack in ,other things will need to be taken into consideration as well. i.e. exhaust and clearance to engine location.
