Found this post on www.specialstage.com (one of my favorite forums). Definatly the same philosophy I have... and I'm really big into philosophy.
The search function doesn't seem to work as it used to.

There's a lot of value for newer folks in engaging in a dialogue with other rally enthusiasts, and while this may initally take the form of asking familar questions, it serves a social aspect that just using SpecialStage to search old posts will not provide.

or, in short, search is a great tool, but a person shouldn't be discouraged from breaking the ice with a few questions until they find the lay of the land.

Completely agree. One of the refreshing differences between this forum and other automotive forums is the lack of search police. Reiterating information is helpful to all.
