found a 95 4g63 specific crank and cam sensor???!!??
ok, so i was looking at a 95 gsx while at import showdown and i didnt see a cas and was like wtf??!! i asked the owner, wheres the cas? hes like, ohh in 95 they did a bunch of lil weird stuff, my cam angle sensor is here... behind the CAM GEAR!!! i was like omg! this is awesome. so it is mounted behind the intake cam gear, now i wonder if we can use this specific setup for us megasquirters? or anyone for that matter so it wont be on the fire wall. i wonder if the code is any different for megasquirt. it also had a seperate crank angle sensor. i wonder if we can get this to work. any insight?
biggest issue is that the crank sensor is for a 7 bolt setup. so, if you use a 2g head, and a 7 bolt block, your golden. otherwise, not so much. the cam gear that we are "supposed" to use on the intake is the correct gear to use the 2g head with the cam sensor setup. I just used 2 exhaust cam gears to not have the sensor plate on the back of the gear.
