So has anyone in the states taken an early mirage 4-door and done the evo3 thing, you know the whole kit and such? Cause that has to be my next project for sure... http://www.fogomains.co.uk/evo/

I've seen one. How much of a let down was it to see an Evo3 pop its hood to see a SOHC FWD engine. This was back in 2002 and seeing an Evo of any type was exciting.

Getting the engine bolted in is about 10% of the way there.
The next 80% can go quickly with help and skill.
That last 10% takes about as long as the 90% that came before it.

One of the guys on the DSMLink board posted a ton of pictures for a swap he did (actually, I believe he's still putting finishing touches on the car). He did everything... even swapping the car to RHD.

It's an awesome car, but personally I can't really get that excited about it because of the sheer amount of work involved (I have much respect for anyone that can take a car to that level)... a RWD 4g63 would be enough work for me as it is! I just would rather spend time on something else, because at the end of the day, you're doing a whole lot of work just to turn the car into another car
