so i got the 4g harness all wired up...so i think. i went to turn it over and i'm not getting any injector pulse. the main relay kicks in and the fuel pump comes on. i do have power to my coils and my injectors.

the only wires i have hooked up to the b38 is the backup ecu power and the 12v switched blue wire to 102 on the ecu. did i miss something?

you can not ground the engine to the car too much. it is 1/2 of the whole wiring harnes

make sure and have a large ground strap frm the engine to the frame and from the engine to the body

check and see if you have power on both sides of your injector, the ECU grounds the injector, if power is on both sides of the injector, that means the injector /resistor/ power lines are good, but in order to power the injector, you need to ground it , through the ECU, so make sure your ECU is grounded also

ecu not pulsing injectors? maybe ecu is bad? have you tried another ecu? have you checked the caps in the ecu for leakage? sorry for all the general questions just trying to help.

well i went and checked all my grounds comming out of the ecu...they all look to be grounded. didn't really check take a good look at the ecu but when i looked at it, it seemed ok. and i don't mind the general questions...i'm human and i've looked over some pretty obvious things before. well guys. thanks for the input, if you have any more i'd love to hear it. i guess i'm gonna try and find an ecu now.

FOUND IT!!! main relay wasn't kickin on all the time. it was real erratic. when i went to unhook the relay the whole thing just separated from it's housing. i replaced it and it fired up. i can't get the thing to idle but at least it's working

ok...yet again...fixed. the guy i got the harness and ecu from gave me a 90 harness with a 91-94 ecu...that was nice of him. so it runs but it idles like its got a bad vacuum leak. it'll idle up...sounds like it cuts out and the idle drops, then idles up and does it all over again.

and i'm still having problems with it shutting off. i gotta pull the ground on the battery every time
