Rod casting #'s ??

Tearing these two wide blocks down I noticed the different casting #'s on the beams.

Some Q's, an R and a A after the 6G casting..
Are there any things to be aware of?
Are some better than others? (stock of course) They all looked pretty beefy and heavy.
