knock sensor on a wideblock 4g63

hey guys i was switching over all of my electric switches from my narrow 4g63 to my wideblock 4g63 and i noticed that there is no place for the knock sensor on the wideblock, am i trippin here? otherwise what have you all done for this??

You need to just find a place to put it. I think there should be a nice tapped hole on the #3 cylinder. I've never had a wide block, but all the blocks I've seen should have a hole there. Also, if you're not using the stock intake manifold, there should be a hole where the manifold support attaches to the block. The DSM knock sensor is not the most accurate piece of equipment and should work just about anywhere as well as it does from the factory.

The part of the casting that the knock sensor goes into is still on the wideblocks, you'll need to drill it and tap it though. Knock sensors don't do much though

Getting the engine bolted in is about 10% of the way there.
The next 80% can go quickly with help and skill.
That last 10% takes about as long as the 90% that came before it.
