RX8 6spd trans

Saw a 6spd RX8 tranny for $400, what good does it do me? Does anyone know if they are same bolt pattern as previous 13b stuff.

On the tranny itself, yea I wonder too. Let's find out, keep this thread rolling.

I can tell from the pictures on ebay that due to the way the bellhousing bolts to the transmission case, this will not work with a B2600 bellhousing.

Getting the engine bolted in is about 10% of the way there.
The next 80% can go quickly with help and skill.
That last 10% takes about as long as the 90% that came before it.

Yea and it looks like the Mazda 6 speed with different gear ratios, not sure about the strength of these, probably going to pass on this idea.

iirc it's an Aisin gearbox, possibly the same as used by Nissan, Honda, GM Holden (Aust).

Pretty sure the Renisis rotary shares bolt pattern with 13B, but knowing Mazda's penchant for having different bellhousing bolt patterns for every engine family  , couldn't be guaranteed.

Even if it had the 13B bolt pattern, it won't fit a B2600 :(
