2nd Gen RX-7 with 4g64/63 hybrid

Post by starofaquarius »

Hello there folks new guy here. Has anyone tried to swap the 4g64/63 into a second generation RX-7? I plan on picking a up 87 RX-7 this weekend and would like know what type of problems I might run in to? Or modifications need to get the engine in the car? I'm not starting the project right know just collecting info. Thanks

Did you happen to search for RX7.. or look 5 threads down?

Getting the engine bolted in is about 10% of the way there.
The next 80% can go quickly with help and skill.
That last 10% takes about as long as the 90% that came before it.

My pile has been running for nearly a year now-Im building a manifold for the big turbo next week.

I need to make more than 708whp-or I'll feel like Im going backwards! :)
