Im not sure on what size is the right size to go with for my app.
I was lookin at 35-38mm and it seemed nice, then i found alot of 46mm sizes. That seemed like overkill, but i really dont know.
I am looking to run mid to low 10s in the quarter, not sure on how much horsepower thats gunna require, but thats my goal.
Also, after i get the size squared away, who makes a nice wastegate that doesnt brake the bank?

Most 38mm wastegates are enough for most people. Quality units by Turbosmart and Turbonextics and such run around $215+. I don't know if they come with the required flanges or not, but do some searching at speed shops. A larger size will allow you to bypass excess exhaust gas around the turbine wheel. You will need to match the wastegate to your turbo and power goals. Anyone can say they want to run 10s, but you'll need to figure out how much power you'll need to push your car's weight down the 1420 along with what your daily needs may be. (if any)

Might as well stick with a 38mm for now. Getting into the 10s is going to take some time and you'll need to tackle the problems as they come up. Just do it once and save some money and when you do your revisions see if the wastegate was holding you back.

Getting the engine bolted in is about 10% of the way there.
The next 80% can go quickly with help and skill.
That last 10% takes about as long as the 90% that came before it.

i have no daily plans for this car, and the point of me asking is so i can hopefully save some time and money and not buy the same part twice. I know i need to mach it well with my turbo, but I dont know what size is gunna get the job done. Im not affraid of going big, i just dont wana go too big. So i guess i will go with the 35-38 for now.
