Here is my American.... muscle? A 1964 Impala Convertible (straight 6, 4-speed muncie :) ). Don't mind the wheels, they are only on there because the stock wheels didnt work with disc brakes.....they will be gone soon I swear.

around here we have trouble finding rust free projects, this is a 1957 Mercedes 190 sl I found in a junk yard
Image
this was built over 20 years ago so the state of the art set up was a Corvette frame set up with a 427 Chevy engine
Image
This is a very YOUNG Bill :D proudly standing next to my money pit :D
Image
After the mechanical work, I paint all my own cars, this is my back yard where I sanded and sanded and sanded , but natural light is the best
Image
This is the same car, I have done this project three times, once with original driveline, once with a twin turbo small block Chevy and then on the last go around , with a big block Chevy

DON'T GET ME STARTED! :D :D :D

1) How does the twin turbo small block compare to the 427 big block in power, driveability, fun? I would think twin turbos would be sufficient enough to not need to "upgrade" to a 427?
Thoughts? opinions?

2) Is that a Gremlin behind the Mercedes in the first picture? Gosh they make me laugh, but I would love to have one.

3) It appears that there is some kind of mightymax/d50 type vehicle under a blanket in the background of one of the 68 Satellite pictures....? Do you have a top secret rusty Mightymax project that you are hiding from everybody?

well, small block Chevy's are like assholes, everybody has one, so the big block is more for impressing the other guys at the car show

that ' gremlen' is a 77 honda accord

the car under the blanket behind the road runner ( not satalite) is the mercedes ( I still have everything I ever built)

OHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH THAT tarp! no , I stripped out a couple Toyota trucks and kept the frames, they make excellent donors to old hot rods with a v-6 chevy engine in the narrow toyota truck frame, you can build the frame up and slide it under the old car of your choice.
Its a living :)

Bill, that's what I'm looking into now with that Honda project. I had a 86 accord hatch that I chopped a toyota frame under the seats and dropped the accord body right over it and it would have done nicely, but lost my storage at the time.. BUT I found two more frames really cheap to use. JUST the time to do it.
This older man here has a ton of older Chryslers and was working on an old Coronett? with a hemi and crossram on top.. I'l try and send ya some pics
