whelp... ive been a lurker for too long now... i currently own 3 starions, and im finally putting a 4g in one of em... i originally wanted a 2.3l but ive decided to put a 2.0 first and work my way up. im goin with a stock rebuild + a 19c turbo that i was running on my 2.6 in the starion. this is my autox/drift car and at one time DD. i cant wait to get this thing up and running.. my 2.0 should be getting back from the shop in 3 or so weeks and then its all up hill from there... here are some pics. hope you enjoy.
How do you plan on doing the swap? Which transmission, which ECU.. etc.
Getting the engine bolted in is about 10% of the way there.
The next 80% can go quickly with help and skill.
That last 10% takes about as long as the 90% that came before it.
stock g54b trans. and the 4g63 ecu/ 3in gm mas/translator. i thought about running megasquirt but because im gonna run just a 2.0 the stock ecu will be fine..

yeah, its a wideblock. 2.0. i wanted to do a 2.3 (use the 2.4 crank in the wideblock) but id have to buy pistons (for the piston pin relocation). i wanted to do a oe bottom end first but i cant, so im gonna just go 2.0 oe bottom end.
