Compatible W 58 Clutch Slave Cyl
I was just inquiring if anyone knows on what kind of clutch slave cyl would be compatible with the stock W58 out of a supra, but it would need to have a side feed inlet, for the clutch line to go into. Im just trying to throw some ideas around to save me that extra 1/4 inch from the steering rack to the Inlet, i have changed the inlet clutch line that used to be screw fitting that was attached to the hose,to now a banjo bolt one. It works for right now but i would like to see if there are any side feed ones out there like the toyota corolla GTS. It would just make this thing so much more servicable if need be, but if thats my only option im happy that i have a RWD 4g63 and thats good enough for me

yeah, eric had that problem when he used a BMW master cylynder and the Toyota slave cylynider, it moved the clutch throw out bearing too far
I will measure the bore on the slave cylinder today and post it later
if you want to dictate the movement of the slave, you will have to move backwards from the bore size of the slave and to the bore of the master AND the mechanical leverage of the clutch pedal

Well i never got time to take the master cyl off, but it has some casting sizes ontop of both the master and slave. Master cyl was 7/8 and the slave cyl was 13/16, not totally sure on its travel but i could safely assume that its the piston diamieter. Ill take some pics of it and post it up, just have to go figure out how to do that first
and the only good somewhat clear resource for the W seris trans i found was here
