My FSM says 38 ft.lbs. but it is for a 1992.

CAPS says that:
8903.1 - 9204.3 use MD040550 Rods <-- 6 bolt rods
9205.1 - 9405.1 use MD193027 Rods <-- 7 bolt rods Same part number as 2Gs according to CAPS

The date is broken down in CAPS in such a way: 92.04.3. means the car was "finished" in 1992, the 4th month (April), during the 3rd 10-day period during that month.

Looks like if its a 6 bolt engine the torque spec is 38 ft.lbs. Maybe this info will show you a little of what you can find with a FSM and CAPS can do together.

Getting the engine bolted in is about 10% of the way there.
The next 80% can go quickly with help and skill.
That last 10% takes about as long as the 90% that came before it.
