First off i would like to say hi and because of this site i have been thinking about dropping in a 4g into my 1990 miata.
i was originally thinking about doing a 3sgte, but sourcing parts for that swap is almost impossible
could you guys measure the front of the engine to the back of the tranny, the front of the engine to the back of the engine, and also the height and with of the multiple trannies that now bolt up to the wonderful 4g.
if this is asking too much, sorry. but i want to make my life a little easier than it will be in the coming future

You get extra 12mm of stroke, so it is 12mm (or just under 1/2") shorterthe 4g63 should be a inch or so shorter im guessing.
4G63 is 19" long, from the tranny mounting surface to the front of the timing belt (accesorry drive pully is extra, depending on the number of belts that you decide to use).
19.5" tall, from oil pan mounting surface to the top of the timing belt gear.
And the oil pan is 5" tall (with a dry sump set-up you can get it down to ~2").
