so yesterday i went and looked at an 88 quest. has some issues and needs some tlc but it has 110k on it and runs pretty good. i left him a down payment and i now have the title in my hand. . ill put some pics up once i get it home.
i hate to do it but i already have an idea what im gonna do... fix the suspension and give it a good tune up and drive it over the winter and get used to how likes being sideways. then when spring comes ill get good at getting her sideways on dry pavement, maybe go to some events with my 240sx friends. THEN when the next winter comes im dropping the g54bt into my d50 and going 4g63t in the quest.
Getting the engine bolted in is about 10% of the way there.
The next 80% can go quickly with help and skill.
That last 10% takes about as long as the 90% that came before it.
