78 Colt 4G63 RWD Low 11 Second Streetcar for sale.....

1978 Colt 2 DR Coupe.

Car Has:
Professional custom built 10 point Roll cage with window net and new Simpson Harnesses. Has custom made subframe connectors that intersect with the roll cage. Datsun Pick Up rearend with 430 gears and a welded center diff (spool) with custom made slapper bars. Car has 60 footed in the low 1.6's without a two step or antilag. Car will out hook AWD's on the street, and now that it has a cage is fairly easy to drive. Has stock wheels up front and 6 lug 14" wheels with Hoosier Quick Time Pros (26, 8.5, 14's) with about 20 passes out back. 3" exhaust with a 2" dump tube set up for internally gated turbo. Oh and a custom muffler support and drive shaft loop. Line Lock, and Volvo turbo Radiator.

Motor has:
1990 4G63 JDM stock short block with modified oil pump for reduced pressure. Could probably stand to be freshend, but still runs fine.
Cylinder head was proffesionally ported and rebuild by Hewes Performance. The head is set up to water from the front though the freeze plug hole, and has a custom block off plate in the rear with temp sensors in it. FP 2 cams and ARP head studs. Head has less than 1K on it.
SBR 60-1 anti surge with internally gated Exhaust housing clocked for RWD. Rebuilt by turbonetics and converted to ball bearing less than 1K ago.
SBR's new and improved exhaust manifold with the large outlet, less than 1k on it.
JMF custom intake manifold with a Direct port nitrous system mounted hidden underneath. Less than 50 miles on it.
Turbonetic's Rapter BOV, all IC pipes and couplers 2.5" with the bolt down clamps, and multi layer couplers thoughout.
Custom ACT clutch that has never been slipped and is very easy to drive around.
PTE 880cc injectors used with a vortech Fuel pressure regulator.
Custom harness and DSM link Prom style ECM.
HKS VPC with 550 chip in it.
SBC Dual solenoid programmable boost controler.
Custom made 4" Core intercooler (fits behind grille, and powder coated black) will support over 700 HP
D50 5 speed trans, only race a few times.
12 Gallon Fuel cell in trunk, aermotive race pump, -6 lines all the way.

The car is currently complete and running. Went 11.50 @ sea level letting off in 4 th, trapped 98.9 MPH in the 1/8th mile. Has gone 11.20's with a smaller turbo and nitrous @ 4500 ft elevation. The paint is brown and ugly, light damage to the cowl, and small dings here and there. Bumble bee stripe around the tail.
A close friend recently crashed a colt with no front hoop in the cage recently and really helped me to realize that 6' 3" 250 lb guys have no business racing a car this small. I have made alot of money racing this car, and now that it is sorted it is fairly easy to drive. This car is totally streetable, and lights and wipers are still operational. This car always attracts a crowd at the track, and takes the money home most of the time on the street.
I am done with this car as I intend to go back to real racing....V8 muscle cars. This car is totally streetable, and lights and wipers are still operational. I will offer this car complete for a week or so, then I am taking it apart.
I want 6500.00 for the whole car as it sits. It will include my spare 77 colt 4door parts car with title, two spare transmissions, another set of radial tires and rims, and a crapload of DSM extras. It would cost over 10K in parts to duplicate, and countless hours of work to recreat this car.
