Hey everyone. I'm getting ready to start build my harness and have many questions. Btw, I did read the wiring section but had problems understanding parts of it. It said that I need a female B38 plug or equivilent. So, does that mean I can use the female B38 plug from our conquest or that I have to get one from a donor car? This female B38 plug then gets wired into the dsm harness, correct? Any insight would be great. I many more questions after this one.
I forget if it is male or female. All I know is that you'll need to plug the 4G6 harness into the chassis. To do this cut the plug off of the G54 harness and solder it onto the 4G6 harness.

I'm pretty sure it has to be the male. Anyways thanks for the quick reply. I have a few more questions. The B38 plug is located in the engine compartment up near the battery. The DSM C-58 and C-59 plugs are located in the interior area along witht the ecu plugs and main relay plug. So what does everybody do to get the wires from the DSM C-58/C-59 to the location where the B-38 plug connects clear up by the battery? I understand connecting the B38 plug to the correct pins from the C-58/C-59/ and main relay plugs, but how do you guys get the male B-38 plug back out into the engine compartment all the way to where it plugs back into the female B-38 plug near the battery?
After I figure out that, my question is what pins are neededmfrom the DSM C-58/C-59/main relay plugs are needed. The wiring section had charts with all of the pins and what they were used for. It also said the pins that were needed were in bold print. I didn't see any of them in bold print on my screen. The were all in the same text. Maybe its just by screen, but can you tell me which pins will be need for the B-38 plug.
Thanks again for all the help and your time. Sorry for all the questions
The B38 plug is NOT located in the engine compartment. It is located in the passenger foot well.

I looked in the passenger footwell and only saw the ecu which I removed. There were just the two ecu plugs (yellow and blue). I also the saw the main relay above. I didn't see any other plugs. Any ideas?
Trace the ECU harness back.. eventually you will run into the B38 plug... and you'll run into it before the harness goes through the firewall.
ECU has 2 plugs and a ground I think.. then there is the Main relay in there.. other than that I think there is only the B38 plug. Do you see anything other than the ECU / main relay plugs? If so.. that's probably B38.

Do you have to remove the a/c evaporator and blower motor housing to see it? I can't follow the wiring up far enough to the firewall to see it or feel for it. I guess I will remove those two items and see.
I've gathered a few from the junkyard and all I had to do was reach in, pull back the carpet and cut the wire from the harness.
