Hello all. My names Dale I'm from cincinnati. Long time DSMer. I own a 89 dodge colt. However I'm very frustrated with fwd and have been wanting to build a rwd D50 race truck for a while. After finding this site I have got answers to many question that where in my head. I look forword to reading all about your builds and starting my own.
Some specs on my car. I built the engine over the winter. Eagle rods and Wiseco pistons. Had the head o-ringed. 272 BC cams. Holset HX40. Maft, 1000cc injectors, Shep stage2 trans. Waiting untill the shootout to run but I'm hoping for high 10's and 130 traps with slicks.
The times are for the current project. Yes, I have found a truck. I'm getting it from redsleeper on the Colt forum. Its a 94 mighty max 2wd 5 speed. Hopefully sometime this week. So, some time during the next couple months I will have some fwd things for sale. Like a (canadian)Colt rolling chassis , stage 2 shep tranny and my new 16'' rims.
Post up some pics when you get it, I had heard about the truck over on the colt board but never seen any pics. What are you looking to get for the shep trans?

Hopefully you're not parting out that Colt. That looks like a really clean car. I'd love to see a FWD run 10's. That Holset should get you there. And those 1000cc injectors definitely will not run out of fuel. It's also cool that you're planning to run that time with the stock manifold. From the factory, that thing flows so much. With a little extrude honing, they flow even better.
