That topic was too tempting to not type.
I'm looking for a tapered reamer to open up the Starion's steering yolks to use a larger tie rod end. How do I know what type of reamer to get and where do I get it? My best guess is that it is a 7 degree standard taper but I could be wrong. Is there a "standard taper" used on Japanese cars?
mcmastercarr has some reamers listed but I dont even know how to look for what I want.

Bill - Looking for a Reamer

Getting the engine bolted in is about 10% of the way there.
The next 80% can go quickly with help and skill.
That last 10% takes about as long as the 90% that came before it.

I bought a couple out of 'speedway catalog' in Nebraska they are hard to figure out what you need, because the depth of the hole makes the size of the hole different
7 degrees sounds right for a domestic car
