i dont think i am making myself clear
its a 1g harness and i want to wire it into the starion tach
but the original wire from the coil is missing so i want
to go straight to the dash
what making it more complex is the fact that
its a technica dash

The Starion tach gets its signal from the negative side of the coil.

Getting the engine bolted in is about 10% of the way there.
The next 80% can go quickly with help and skill.
That last 10% takes about as long as the 90% that came before it.

Coil negative, like everyone pointed out, I -think- its a blue/white wire. It is not part of the starion engine harness, it will still be in the car by the old coil location even if you've removed the engine harness.
