Take out the dash.. hahaha.. sounds a bit much.. but that's what I had to do. Its not really that much work if you dont have to put it back together. Actually you can get by with just loosening it and pulling it out. You'll need to take out the A/C evaporator and the blower. Its really not that bad. You just need to get started and not stop till its done.

Getting the engine bolted in is about 10% of the way there.
The next 80% can go quickly with help and skill.
That last 10% takes about as long as the 90% that came before it.

I got my harness out of my parts car in about 20 min. Woooo Hooo! Swivel heads and wratcheted wrenches r0x0rZ my s0x0rZ. It was a bitch fighting those extra auto plugs through that little hole.
So now I need to strip out the AT stuff, and all the B/S.. and figure out what I do need. I might have to save some stuff that was burnt up. Yup.. my parts car had fire damage! Battery caught on fire. Luckily it didnt burn the harness on the firewall, just the wire that ran under it and around the ABS.
Harness stripping and stuff is going to be my winter task.. that and saving money... and trying to get sponsors. Dont know if I'm going standalone or not.
