4g64 parts for swap

Post by Silverjoel »

have most of the bottom end for 4g64 swap. 91 mighty max block so it hooks up to a starquest tranny. Crank along with it. Brand new eagle H beam rods and wiseco pistons. The block will have to be machined and bored out for the pistons. I'm looking for $950 for all. Would prefer to sell it local, but will ship if that's the way I have to go. Pics can be found here.

Hrmmmm... I'm only a hop skip and a jump from there. I might buy it all up and sell off some things. Give me a few days to think about it.

Looks like this stuff is still available. Figures I'm already set on buying a car tomorrow which will pretty much tap me out until after the new year.

Who wants it? Its pretty comparable to other prices out there $400 pistons, $400 rods, $150 block and crank. Beats hunting in the junkyard.

This stuff is still available. The block is outside of DC, the rods and pistons are up in MN. $150 for the block. $750 for the rods and pistons shipped. I'm open to offers.

Everyone.. the rods and pistons are priced on par with anywhere else. Get them from him if you need them and help a brother out.

What do you have with the block? My checklist has on it:

Block
Crank
Mains (not mixed up)
Rear Main Seal Retainer
Oil Pan
Oil Pickup
Engine Mount Brackets (if possible)

I'd be able to pick it up with racecar in tow and cash in hand Sunday the 24th. Or maybe in the Festiva this weekend. Where around DC are you.

Sorry for dragging my feet on this so often. I never really had a good reason to get it, but now with my plans to gather blocks for a 2.4L shortblock GP I can actually commit to it. Pistons and Rods I just don't have the cash for right now.

Put your location in your profile so we can better figure out how to move these blocks around the country. SilverJoel's block is in Arlington, VA which is about an hour from me. Maybe you're closer to WA state?

Joel, I've picked up the block from Shane. He looks like he's got his hands full enough with this 4G64. I'll have to take this home to get a good look at it. Looks like its going to need a transmission bolt removed and a serious cleaning. I'll be in touch once I check it out.
